RainDance Collaborates with sanofi-aventis to Improve Pharmaceutical Productivity
In the sanofi-aventis 2008 Annual Review, the global healthcare company highlights its alliance with RainDance Technologies Inc. and the Université Louis Pasteur to create the dScreen Consortium within the biocluster at Alsace BioValley, France. This project will develop a new generation of high-throughput screening devices to discover innovative molecules.
According to the review, “The pharmaceutical industry…has long been concerned about the capacity of R&D to bring innovations to market on a regular basis. This partnership aims to accelerate output to drive the process of discovering future medicines.”
